FUNCTION OF ENZYMES IN SWIZYME: Cellulase : Helps for better digestion of fibre in the feed ration which helps to reduce the viscocity, thereby reduction of Diarrhoea problem.
Amylase : Helps for digestion and better utilization of starch as Glucose.
Phytase : Acts on phytate bound phosphorus and helps to convert the same as utilizable phosphorus. It also releases the proteins, amino acids like methionine, lysine, threonine, tryptophan etc. and other minerals like zinc, calcium, manganese, iron, copper etc.
Protease: Acts on large protein molecules and makes them simple available forms for better digestion and utilization.
Lipase : Acts on lipids / fats / oils and breaks them into smaller chain fatty acids and glycerols for better utilisation by the body.
Xylanase: Acts on common ingredients of feed like Deoiled rice bran, wheat, sunflower cake etc and releases sugars which are used as source of energy. It is proved that xylanase reduces the viscolity of ingesta in the gut and thereby helps to reduce loose droppings / diarrhoea.
